Emergency Services
If you or someone you know is experiencing severe chest pain, severe shortness of breath, a stroke or severe pain in any part of their body, call an ambulance on 112, as this will require hospital treatment.
Diagnostic tools
Here at the surgery we provide 24hr blood pressure monitoring, ECGs, blood sugar monitoring and peak flow monitoring. Please feel free to enquire about any of these services.
Sports and Exercise Management
Sports and exercise medicine encompasses injury diagnosis and management, injury prevention rehabilitation, and also areas such as health promotion, exercise prescription, and exercising in the older person and those with certain medical conditions.
Women’s Health
We provide a comprehensive women’s health service. We insert and remove the coil devices, implanons and can advised further on other forms of contraception including emergency contraception. We carry out cervical screening, both with cervical check or privately if needed.
We are also happy to discuss fertility issues and arrange initial blood testing for patient’s having difficulty conceiving.
In times of crisis pregnancy we can advised further on your options and help you to make the best choice possible for you.
We also provide shared antenatal and postnatal care with the hospital for pregnancy and beyond.

Men’s Health
We provide a comprehensive men’s health check service. This includes PSA screening and examination (an examination is required, a PSA in and of itself isn’t sufficient). We can also do checks for fertility issues and help with issues such as erectile dysfunction.

Immunisations
Our experienced nursing staff carry out all childhood immunisations according to the schedule and are also able to give flu vaccines, pneumococcal vaccines, the shingles and chicken pox vaccine also.
Travel Medicine
We also run a comprehensive travel vaccination service and are certified to administer the yellow fever vaccine. Most of the vaccines are stored on sight or can be ordered into the surgery in a few short days. It is recommended that you have your vaccines at least 2 weeks before travelling.
We can also advised you regarding some other issues that you might run into while travelling such as whether you need malaria prophylaxis, how to manage traveller’s diarrhoea and general safety concerns when travelling to foreign countries.
Chronic Disease Management
If you have a chronic disease such as asthma, diabetes, coeliac disease etc we are well placed to manage this and can help you with medications, tests and regular check-ups that you may require.
